Future owner here

Hello,
I'm in the process of getting my first toy hauler. Pretty much decided on the Boost 29QBS. I'm shopping a few dealers and units. I have a question that I'm hoping someone here can answer. Part of one the packages on the unit I'm looking has a generator pump, but no generator. What exactly is that?

I'm guessing that is part of the fuel delivery system for a generator. Maybe something from the on board fueling station to the generator cabinet?

The unit I'm looking at does not have a generator. The dealership quoted me a price to add one. I can get the same unit myself for over $1000 cheaper. How hard would the install be? Or should I just let the selling dealership handle the install?

Thanks for the help!

If it's like the Hyperlites, the Mobile Fuel Station is required with the generator prep as the fuel station gas tank is also used for the generator. The "pump" you refer to is to fuel toys, not the generator, but its part of the fuel station package.

As long as you have the factory gen prep, installing a generator is not that complex if you have good mechanical/electrical skills, but they are HEAVY and you have to lift and manipulate into a small compartment.

Personally, my back is worth more than a grand.
