Garage brackets?

I have a 2017 29hfs. I have the two bunk option in back. I have heard a lot about putting brackets in back to raise bed height for taller utv's and such.
Anyone have any experience with this and or what did you do?

The top bunk is very easy to remove in and out and the benches fold against the walls for more clearance - could store top bunk against one of the walls too if you got enough room

I don't see how the benches can fold against the wall. These brackets look like they aren't meant to move. Again mine is a 2017 but I know on the 2016 they do?!?!?Click image for larger version

Check - happyjack bed system thread - you can add the folding brackets if you don't have them

Thanks PH. I looked at the pics of yours and the brackets look extremely similar. There were no pins, put a place for pins on brackets and frame cut outs similar. Maybe I am just missing how to put them down ?!?!

I see the hole for the pin in your picture -does the hole go all the way thru?

Should be able to just lift and pull bench towards center of room to engage folding bracket -- and if so you need to find the pins -

dangerousness not to have pins installed

You saved me. I just tried what you said and it folded right up. The sales rep stated we didn't have that feature! When folded up, do the pins go in same are as when they are as a bed?
