Generator box lock

I have been looking for a toy hauler for about 3 weeks. Almost bought a used Grey Wolf 22rr, but decided it was too small. My wife ruled out the next size up because the bathroom was between living/bedroom.
Local dealer has a XLR Boost 27qb in stock. It is higher priced/heavier than I initially planned. It is prepped for an Onan generator that I don't think I could get at this time.
My question is, could a lock be placed on this compartment door or even better a replacement door added that is not vented?

Lock should be an easy switch as for replacement door you will have to ask dealer.

I replaced all my outside locks with locks to match my door lock. Super easy. Including my gennie door lock. I keep all my “connections” (hoses, cords, etc) so they are easy to get to, when we get to where we’re going.

Yes I have a simliar generator door on my Wolf Pack and I replaced one of the factory knobs with a cam lock. Instead of putting the built in Onan on my unit I opted to buy a Champion inverter generator. I can carry it in the original generator compartment, but when I'm not camping or during the winter it's in my home garage in case I ever need it. A lot cheaper than the Onan and serves multiple uses for me.
