Generator Output Hookups

Posted in the general forum, but thought I would ask those who actually have an XLR too. I searched the forums but couldn't find an answer. I have a 2014 XLR 27HFS with a pre-wired generator compartment and just purchased an Onan 4000W KY generator. I've read both manuals and neither even hint where the power output cables hook up to supply power to the camper. The rest of the connections seem very straightforward.

I've attached some pictures of where I think it might connect, but don't want to get this wrong. These were taken from underneath within a few feet of the generator compartment directly behind the A-frame holding the battery. Is this where I connect the cables, do I need to install a 'transfer switch' somewhere, or are the connections inside the camper?

Thanks in advance for any helpful hints.
- Dave

DO NOT CONNECT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Those are all 12V connections, you'll fry stuff you didn't know you had if you put 120V there.

If it's prewired I'd imagine there's a dedicated power cord outlet in the box for the generator, probably looks just like the power cord connection outside.

Thanks for the warning SKnight.

In the pre-wired compartment are +/- cables leading directly to the battery, the two gasoline lines to the tank, and a remote plug to control the generator from inside. That's it, no other hookups in or near the compartment that I can see.

Kaboom gave me the tip I needed. For reference to others looking in the future, what I was looking for was under the bed inside the camper.
