Getting really close now

I just heard my 29HFS is at the dealer now. Trying to line up the pdi date so I can pick her up. (Afraid I'm out of town for the next week...)

So far everything has gone as planned with the dealer. It took longer than I wanted to get it here but it was within the time line he had stated when we ordered it.

Is there anyway we can make the next couple of weeks fly by?

Thank you to everyone for your input over the past few months. I have learned a lot. And I know to post pictures as soon as I have them...

Have a great day...

Another step closer...that's great! Ours is currently parked because we leave Monday for Thailand (business & pleasure) and will be home on May 12th. And then we'll be ready to roll into the camping season! Heading to Springfield Ill over Memorial weekend + a few extra days. A little Abe Lincoln history and AMA Flat Track motorcycle races and the State Fair Grounds.

I will be in Chicago next week for work, so it does not hurt having it sit at the dealer until I get back on the 8th. But we have plans to camp memorial weekend at some friends land, so I want to make sure I have my updates done by then.

Just found out my orientation/pdi date is 5/19. Much later than I wanted but at least it's scheduled.
I guess it gives me more time to shop for accessories .

My grandfather always said "never wish your life away" Your PDI will get here soon enough. My personal experience has been to not rush the dealer. If you find a problem during PDI it won't be because you rushed them. Enjoy your new rig!!

Well, it's the final weekend before I can pick up the TH (scheduled for 5/19). I will be busy ensuring my PDI is all in order and reviewing the board for any new items that have arose (i.e. cracking fenders).

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone on the board. I have learned a lot from everyone and I'm looking forward to giving back as I start to enjoy my new camper this summer (with mod's, how to's and of course pictures...)

The day is finally here. Picking up the camper this afternoon. Nervous and excited at the same time. I thought those feelings went away after you pasted 45.

Enjoy your new rig. Oh, one other thing. I'm 67 and those feeling haven't gone away for me! Just saying.

Twiggw,
Actually I'm very happy to know no matter the age, people still have these feelings. It means we still have the kid inside us...

WW,
My 16 year old daughter thinks I'm nuts but I'm going to wear my Gopro during my PDI so I have a recording of how everything works. Afraid my mind will be all over the place during the PDI.

Breezy,
My wife will be with me to make sure I'm level headed and not a kid in the candy store.

Need to do some adjustments to the Andes hitch because of cable and hose mounting points. But she still towed well.
Now we need to start adding items and mods.
