Don't know this brand. I have a Honda 3000 that works just fine. Wish I would have gone with two 2000 with a companion connection . Don't always need more than a single 2000.

Looks to be the typical low-end contractor genny. It will give you electricity. It will be very loud. It will burn lots of gasoline. Anyone within 200 feet of you will hate you.

Many options of quiet inverter generators are available.

The DuroStar looks just like a clone of a big box store generator w/ name-brand engine I purchased for household power outages (about $350 on sale). Although advertised as "quiet" compared to others, IMO, like mine, it will be too noisy to meet the decibel restrictions at most CGs. If you run one of these, you will get complaints & have to turn it off - probably right when outside temps are hitting 90 & you desperately need your A/C to be running....

So... I just bought (2) WEN 2000-Watt Inverter Generators for $379.99 (each) from Woot.com.

From all appearances the WENs appear to have the Yamaha 2000 engine - right down to the location of the dipstick, etc. - likely built in the same China factory to the same specs. The WEN units have higher customer satisfaction than similar units sold at Harbor Freight, etc. From Amazon I added a $60 WEN 56421 Parallel Connection Kit to which I can plugin my 30A TT power cord & run the A/C or microwave.

They are light-enough that I was able to carry one in each hand from my garage to the back of my property. I can just hear them running outside the TT with A/C running. You can have a conversation sitting right next to them, but it's a little annoying. However, place them 15' away on the other side of the TT and they are no bother...

Unlike the household genny, a gallon of gas in each will power them through the night. You can also easily rig-up safe ways to fuel them from larger tanks...

I run the two Honda 2000's with companion connection. Very quiet and you only need one if not running the AC. Small and easy to move around and both fit nicely in the generator slot in the front of TH for storage. As long as you top off gas before you go to sleep, they will run all night.

Champion 2000 inverter on sale now 449.very quite and you can parallel 2 of them and still be less in cost then one honda 2000 .
champion 4000/3500 open frame remote start 399. a little louder but not bad . seems most of the time when in a park you have electric hooks ups and don't use gen. when boondocking then you will use it and neighbors not always very close so the open frame model works fine

I have the 4000/3500 remote start but have found when boondocking i never needed the full power of the unit . i am in the rocky mountains in summer and no real need for AC . so just bought the 2000 it will run the microwave. and keep the batteries charged and is only 53 db . so far so good and much smaller the the open frame unit and 90lbs less weight

DON'T BUY IT. That's a "contractor" grade generator. WAY louder than an RV inverter generator (hence the low price).

I like my Honda 3000. I had it about 6 feet from the trailer and with the air conditioner running you could barely hear it run. The 3 gallon tank gave me about 15 hours.

MX,
I have the one and if I ever wanted to power the roof air, I would do the same. I actually have a 10K BTU portable in the garage that a single EU2000 can power. On my Hyperlite, the handle on the Honda is too tall and won't allow it to fit my front storage bin, but not a problem.

IMO (naturally) When buying a generator, the old adage is no truer... you get what you pay for! Whether you want quiet, efficiency, or the ability to run continuously. Cheap generators can't do those and probably not one of them; they certainly cannot run at near 100% continuously. I don't think even a Honda (or Yamaha) can truely do that, but for most of us, being quiet and efficient is good enough.

I highly recommend a Honda generators. We used a pair of EU2000 for several thousand hours. We acquired a 6 gallon fuel tank from Walmart and custom fuel caps for generators. The quick couplers and hoses (normally for boats) would feed the generators for about 48 hours continued run without refueling. Yes they cost more but with auxiliary fuel tank to offset the somewhat small fuel cells well worth it.

When it comes to generators you are going to get what you pay for. It seems the cheap ones don't last very long. Not only that but the cheap ones are normally very noisy.

The generator in question will work just fine at a Nascar race or most rodeos.
