I too have one of the Champion 3100W generator inverter units. I have had it for just about a year and have had no issues.

3100 Watt Inverter Generator - Champion Generators 75531I - Portable Generators - Camping World

I paid $750 for it shipped when I found it on sale with free shipping. I did not purchase it from Camping World.

I had a question about the open ground on the generator and emailed tech support at Champion. One of their techs emailed me back with in 24 hour.s

Hondas and Yamahas are great generators , there is no questioning that . but the are way over priced i mean way over priced . the champions are priced right and run just as good as any honda or yamaha out there . from the 2000 inverter tp the bigger units i have a 2000 that recently ran for 10 days 12 hrs a day to break it in and it never missed a beat . the other is a 4000/3500w open frame remote start and it also runs great . the price of both units was less then one honda 2000 . so with champion you do get what you pay for . with honda and yamaha you get much less then you pay for

Agree with NS...I would buy the Champion 3100 again in a heartbeat before I overspent on Honda or Yamaha. The risk/reward balance is in your favor...

Don't buy that loud obnoxious thing, whatever you do.
