Red face HDMI for the iPad

I am wanting to buy an HDMI to connect my iPad to our VIZIO to watch Netflix. Does anyone know which Is best? I went to a Wal Mart who sold me a wrong one, and when I took it back was told they don't sell them in the store. I called AT&T who said they don't carry them but to try Best Buy. I called and they said they have a cable that will work. When doing a google search on them, there are several out there.....as always I love to hear from my FR family!

Buy an Apple TV box - it's $99. It'll hook up to the TV and then stream wireless from your iPad.

That said, depending on the campground's wifi, it may not have the juice for streaming. Most that I've found were pretty crappy.

We have an Apple TV at home and it is fine for watching Netflix, but it does have to have decent Wi-Fi. It seems that you are familiar with watching Netflix on the iPad, so if you have wi-fi enough to do that, then streaming to the Apple TV just amounts to pressing an icon. I thought about taking our Apple Tv and putting it in the camper, but we usually have lousy wi-fi when camping.

Here is what I use and it works great. I know you cN get it at Amazon or at the Apple store. A bit pricey though at $35-40.

So dezeldad it appears the top is the HDMI plug and what/how does the bottom piece work. I can't read the print.
I researched the Apple TV and see that it offers great resolution for Netflix and has a few features I am not really needing in the RV but once our new home is complete, it might be a great one to use there!
It's amazing how these can be so different....from the resolution to the poor wifi ability....

RVChick,

The top plugs into your iPhone or iPad. The bottom right is for your USB/AC charger cord that came with your iPad (it will charge as you play). The bottom left is for a standard HDMI cord purchased separately.

I've been using it for the past year and it works great.

If you are not afraid to buy via eBay you can have the same cable significantly cheaper.

There is a person on there selling them for $19.99 with free shipping, I got mine from them. It did not come in a new package, but I'm not worried about that. I watched all the auctions and from what I saw from a couple weeks of watching, the auctions usually end up going for more than that. Just my 2 cents..
