Looking forward to some more cold camping in 2016. Since we only had 2 this year and had the camper full of people both times. I have not experienced a really cold camper yet. But I now have some really good projects to work on because of all the wonderful ideals people put on this forum....

Happy Thanksgiving everyone...

I know our 2014 XLR 395 has the smaller flexible hose going to the garage heat vent. Try heating a 14ft garage with just the one. We always run a small electric heater in there when it's cold.

Same here. We too have an electric heater. $80 for a nice oil filled unit that is silent, puts out plenty of heat to roast the garage out if desired, and is thermostatically controlled. It also runs for free on park power.

It's going very slow --- everybody has there own opinion on how to install a square box - lol - I could of had it done in hour or two but For some reason the professionals seam to want to make it hard - I have 2 heaters XLR sent out and still waiting on XLR approval for latest install modification-

I read your thread on picking up your 29HFS with interest. Good stuff.

When I was getting ready to buy mine, I noticed that it came stock with a 35k BTU Furnace on paper. I wonder if that change isn't attributable to your thread.....

Anyway, I went to Durnell's to pick it up and they had the furnace running while they did the walk-through and -- It was pretty nice considering they'd only had it running for ten minutes and it was in the low 30's that morning.

Thought I'd mention it.

But the garage was quite a bit cooler.

About the furnace... I shouldn't say it but I can't help myself... "its about time"! That makes it a true 2 season camper... can you say extreme! It will take a second AC to get to 3 (in the hot south). Its getting there.
