Mr. NS, I had already run 12v into the pantry access for other things; so I tapped it there... ran inside pantry vertically.. added the remote there and exited the cabinet at a point that is low enough to be hidden from eye level but above the seal across the slide opening. The strip I bought was the warm white with adhesive backing. It provides a low level light that is nice. I use it all the time.

I ran a AWG 10 and an AWG 6 to that access panel fed by circuit breakers in the box for the genset, from the batteries.

thanks .I was looking at tapping in at the12v dinette switch and mounting to the back of the slide trim . so you mounted to the wall behind the slide trim ? I also ran 12v power to the pantry for an inverter in that location . i was looking for a way to fish the wires to the dinette switch and add a switch right next to that one . now i will re think my install . thanks again

NS, yes, just above the seal but still below the top of the trim when closed.

Ha busy dam I need a vacation! Heater in and huge huge difference I now have heat - even though it's still not optimal grrrr - installation company did a great job with install and reworking cabinets but grrr not separate the 4 ducts into there own outlets - easy fix and cheap if I can find time --- I have had it out in temps down in the low 40S and the new furnace easily keeps up and heats toyhauler now -

This was not an easy process 4plus months with me in the middle of XLR and WA repair shop - happy w outcome but would of been way - way easier and faster to do myself -

Thanks to Dianne at XLR for working with me to finally get this resolved..

Looks good PH!
Grrr indeed that they didn't get the ducts set up right. A modder's work is never done.

SFQ 35 - what they are currently installing In the 2016-17 model year -

North Star there is no comparison on how much more heat SFQ 35 put out compared to old even only Hooked to 2 vents ( which will be fixed soon ) turn furnace on and my toyhauler is now heated from 40s to 70 in less than 20 min the old would never get to 70 and would run 24/7 and this furnace is quieter go figure

Glad it's working out. the 35 should have been in all from the get go . once you divide
the ducts into 4 it'll even be better . at least FR is learning, to bad it's at the expense of others . I'm satisfied with how mine heats the living area and runs very little . of course i never keep it above 68 and only 60 at night .

If I find some cool weather I'll know how your mod works Mr. N, it seemed to work but haven't seen enough cold.First reservation today China Lake NAWR for a week this summer. That will let me get in some side trips. I want to boondock near Sedona and near Independence CA. Working on others.
