Hi Danno2u....we are doing fine, thank you asking! It was a bit rough earlier this week when the temps went down to 13 and 16 degrees overnight. I kept a space heater on in the cargo area and closed that door, then a space heater in the coach and one in the bedroom. Closing the bedroom doors at night kept it nice and warm. During the day I keep the shades closed if the sun is not out. We have someone from a place called Rec Tec that is sending a guy out next week to fix everything. They are letting him do it as a side job, since we are parked a bit out of their way. Rec Tec did all our RV work on our old unit, and they have knowledge of all kinds of RV's. They always gave us great customer service before, and now they are continuing that service. The guy is waiting on parts for the furnace so that he has everything he needs in case it is a problem we don't anticipate. He is also going to fix the fireplace receptacle so that I can use the fireplace too. (We had the motor replaced a week after we bought the unit, but the receptacle was bad and did not allow the plug to fit snugly when plugged in. So to avoid a possible fire in that panel, we have had it unplugged all this time. (We tried to plug it into the outlet for the TV but it trips the breaker. The fireplace plug is on its own fuze.).
I will be so happy when the furnace is working....no more wearing long johns all day long!!
