Heater size in XLR Thunderbolt?

After reading Issues with heating the Hyper lite I decided to look into the Thunderbolt heaters.
I checked the web site and the new brochure and could not find the heater size.
Anyone have the size of the heater in the XLR Thunderbolt trailers with the extreme weather package ?

I've been looking into this myself. It seems to be left out of all media. I'm bummed that I forgot to ask what BTU the furnace was when I drove 2 hours to check out a 24FQSL. Reading Play Hard's thread and how bummed he is with a 20 BTU furnace. I have a 30 in my current 221RBXL.

Thanks Bob!
The brochure does not spell out the size.

You will still need a small portable heater in the garage though due to the single duct and lack of floor insulation. What would be a great factory option would be to have the garage AC have a heat strip included to supplement the furnace.

That would be great to have a 2nd source of heat built in.
The garage has had the most complaints of being the coldest space in all XLRs. FR should create a option for a Roof mount split system,A/C-Electric Heat.

I think a heat strip can be added to the factory garage AC. I am going to investigate this option when I get mine home next week.

Can you explain a bit more about the heat strips?

Basically, it is an electric powered finned copper tube that puts out about 5600 btu's of heat drawing 15-16 amps of electric directly through the AC's wiring. It is installed inside your existing AC and uses the AC's blower to circulate the heat. Looks like this:

What would be nicer would be a factory install so it would function through the AC's thermostat. Will research if I can tie that in too...

The heat strip is an option at the factory. We used to have a fireplace option as well.

Can't you still get the fireplace in the main room? Or did you used to have a fireplace in the garage?

Sure wish this stuff was listed in the options and not a "hidden" option... Well, at least I got the hidden rear electric stab jack option... Steve, maybe you can still have it added to your order?

PS: Bob, will it be much trouble for me to add one after the fact to my garage AC?

My list of "added" is growing by the day. One more thing to check with the dealer this week.

I've had heat strips in a couple trailers including a Greywolf TH and it didn't cut it. A cheap 1000/1500W portable works better for me. If it could be ordered with a heat pump (like some 15Ks have) would be kick a--.
