help on dump valves

For those of you that have an hfs27, the kitchen dump valve is easy to get to. The bath gray water and the black water are very hard to get to to pull up. My arms are not that long and they are back in a place where its almost impossible to get to. Any suggestions on how to get to them easier to open and close ?

I agree, the locations of the two valves you refer are horrible. Short of replumbing or using a cable type valve I see no fix. Or at least it would not be easy. My black water valve seeps putting a gush of black behind the cap when removing. This just ads to the frustration and forces a straddle to keep from kneeling in it.

I agree the black water valve location on a 27HFS is terrible. The first time I dumped I cut my arm on a sharp edge of the frame. I now use a broom handle to open and close the valve. I would think there is a better solution but I haven't come up with one yet.

If you have the manual awning, you can use the pull stick for the awning to open and close the valve. I'm still young enough to get under there and do it by hand. I figure by the time I'm too old, my son will be big enough to pull the dump valves for me .
