How do you tell when fresh water tank is full?

How do you tell when the fresh water tank is full- when you are filling it up? The manual says that they have a small hole that will shoot out water to let you know. Mine does not. What happened was it filled up the tank then filled up on top of the underbelly covering and then finally started pouring out around the edge.

What am I supposed to do? Stay inside and watch the LED indicator on the control panel?

You should have a vent hose coming coming out the top of your tank, that allows air to escape and water will come out when tank is full. Sounds like maybe your hose has come off, or possibly was never attached at all.

When I fill my freshwater tank it means I'm getting ready to boondock/dry camp. I fill it until it overflows!

I fill mine very slowly............... 20 minutes or better to fill.

Pretty sure everyone fills until it overflows, but if your overflow is dumping into your covered underbelly, as the OP stated, you have a problem.

My overflow tube actually comes out through the bottom of my underbelly, right next to my FW tank drain. When it pours out it's full. My last TT had vent tube right next to fill though.
