How to clean the rubber floor

Any suggestions for cleaning the rubber floor in the Hyoerlite. With the knobs in the floor, I doubt a mop will work well. I'm temped to use a power wash or hose sprayer, but I'm nervous about water damage under the flooring.

Just hosing won't work any more than just hosing off your car. We wash with Mr. Clean using our RV wash brush and carefully hose out with a standard hose and sprayer. Just make sure the trailer is tipped up in the front and the water runs right out. I'm guessing if you did this all the time, some water damage might occur but since we only do it once a season, I'm not too worried about it.

If its not already done, you could lay down a nice and neat bead of silicone between rubber floor and faux diamond plate. X10 on soonersalt... Get her chin up and scrubba dub.

That was part of my tip actually. Mr. Clean does give a new look. This is a tip I learned years ago from my brother who raced motorcycles when he was young. Mr. Clean makes plastic and rubber look almost like new. It's almost like there is a touch of oil in it. It won't give you the trashy Armor All look though. Give it a try before adding anything else to the mix. I bet you are surprised...

Yes, it is cheaper @ Walmart and it is available in spray bottles and it can be mixed with water. I use it straight in a spray bottle to clean tires.

The less you dilute the Mr. Clean, the more shine it leaves behind. I really liked it on previous ATV's I owned that were just plastic fenders rather than the newer ones that are painted with automotive finish. It would hide all the little swirls in the plastic and make the black plastic and rubber parts look new. If you can just spray it on straight with the spray bottle and lather it with a brush before adding water, you'll get good results...

Been using Super Clean sense before it was bought by Castrol. It was called PurplePower. Works great and it's biodegradable. Use sparingly. A little goes a long way.
