I weighed my trailer today

Took my 413 amp in today to get it weighed on the way home from camping. Truck is a 2011 Silverado 3500 drw lml 4x4 ltz , 3 passengers and 1/2 tank of fuel. I'm guessing my truck weighs 8000 lbs. XLR had no water in any tanks just cloths, some food, a 4 seat rzr xpt. Honda 450, and a kawi 110 dirt bike. Trailer and cargo is 20800 lbs?

Why are you guessing how much your truck weighs... Why didn't you weigh TV without trailer? That way you would know pin weight etc.

Agree, after going to the scales you shouldn't be guessing about any weights.
Next time drop the front jacks and take the weight off the truck so
you know what's really going on.

I guess if I paid for a 1 ton dually and a 21,000 lb 5er, I would just go camping and not bother with scales

No point going to a scale and only weighing half your equation. If you are the kind of person who wants to know your weights, then you need to weigh the truck by itself. From there you can know your pin weight, know exactly how much payload you have, weight on your axles etc...Just guessing is pointless...by the way I am "guessing" your truck with 1/2 tank of fuel and 3 passengers as you describe it, is more than 8000 lbs. My 3/4 ton diesel with only myself in it and a 1/4 tank of fuel weighed in at 7700 # the other day when I took a load to our garbage dump, and that was on a pretty fancy newer scale so I am confident it's accurate....now fill it up with fuel and take it for a ride to your nearest CAT scale, then you will know.

The weight you need is of the truck loaded as you will tow, with a full tank of gas and everyone on board; just not the camper.

Then subtract that weight from your combined weight and you will get the weight of your loaded camper.

THEN add the two truck axles unloaded and subtract that from the two truck axles with the trailer aboard and you will find out your actual pin load.

I would go run your truck through the scales without the trailer, (full tank of fuel, all pass. that would be going). From your scale sheet, you look a little light on your steers. If you're worried about the numbers, you can't guess

Unless you have three axels your trailer is overloaded with over 16K on them

I have a 2014 Denali 3500 DRW LML 4x4. I just weighed it a few weeks ago - empty, full fuel, and me - 160lbs - it weighs 4820 front, 3540 rear, 8360 gross. I would guess yours is close to that.
I have yet to scale the entire rig, most likely we won't be traveling until this fall.
