Just picked up 2016 XLR 29HFS

Hello everyone! Just picked up this new baby after trading in a 4 year old toy hauler of a different make.

I see that this forum is very active with lots of great info. Thanks for all of the tips and mods that have been posted.

Will be heading out to a BBQ contest this weekend in my new "Big Sexy".

Dave

Got a lot to do today.

1. Heading off to Lowe's to see about Smart tile around both sinks.
2. Then to Walmart to pick up a TV mount for the living room. Need to price TV's for the bedroom.
3. Order stainless steel cover for the stove.
4. Load my 800 lb smoker into the garage and test drive.
5. Find bed sheets for the garage beds.

And this is all to be done before lunch!!!

What kind of BBQ do you do? Compitition? Do a little BBQ myself, but just do it for friends and family.
Goo luck on the new XLR.

Yes, I compete in those sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS.US) as a hobby. Toyhauler works perfectly as my smoker weighs about 850 lbs. Here she is. It's a fully insulated gravity feed smoker. Will run at 200 degrees for 16 hours on 10 lbs of charcoal.

Oh this is wonderful! Instead of arguing tires, weights and diesel versus gas, we can argue Kansas City versus Texas versus Lexington BBQ!

The forum has been much too bland lately. 😄
