Ladder placement

I found a good spot for my 5ft ladder. I dropped the optional fuel tank bracket by 1.5 inches and now I can slide the ladder in the rack that used to be designed to hold the optional fuel tank. ( I simply added 2-1.5 in pressure treated strips and added longer bolts. ) I use the ladder to sweep off the slide out so the roof is clean before departing the camping area.

Here is a photo of the addition of a 1 and a half inch painted piece of pressure treated to the fuel rack behind the wheels. It allowed enough space to slide in a ladder in the void where the fuel tank would sit.

I was looking at that space as well, I was thinking about storing a couple of 4'-5' planks there for leveling purposes

You could do that, maybe without making the modification.
