Laminate flooring

After picking up our new trailer on Saturday we took it about an hour down the road to try it out for a night. Apparently there were some staples that went completely through the wood and floor of our kitchen slide, that tore the flooring. The dealer is turning in a claim. However I would like to go back with laminate floor instead of linoleum. Has anyone done this, and did you have any concerns when you did it?

There are a couple of threads here if I remember correctly where someone used the vinyl laminate flooring in a motorhome and possibly a 5th wheel. You may want to look around and see what you find.

Search for Allure, I think that's what was used.

The vinyl flooring split over winter in our previous TT. The dealer quoted $2460 to replace with more vinyl floor. We decided to replace the floor with TrafficMaster Allure from Home Depot. Our cost? $650.

Here are a couple of finished photos.

It was pretty labour intensive but we were delighted with the results. Much more durable and much more attractive.
