Led lights on 305

I just had 2 red led strips sent to me thru warrantybc mine was half working on my 16 xlr 305. I removed and reinstalled myself. The old ones were weathered bad. Anyone else have this problem?

Of course...I have two strips to replace, and three clearance led's...

I see it's a popular issue.

Between camping trips my awning strip (white LEDs) lost over half the lights... The longer they were on the more individual lights would come on. I replaced with RGB with remote... not that I need all that.

One of my LED strips for the brake lights was only half working after the first camping trip. When I went in for my 60 day check-up, the dealer replaced it. I was surprised at how rough the back part of the strip looked. Almost like water was just seeping behind the gasket. The tech and I looked over all the seals after that. They all seemed good (just like during the PDI...) but for some reason I must have missed this one brake light.

Now, this is a yearly item on my check list....

WW, what LED light strips did you use? The strips in my awnings appear to be 3528, but all of the RGB sets I have found are 5050 and wide enough that I cannot get them in the track.

Here is what I bought from Hitlights, back in August.

Luma10 Series HD Multicolor LED Light Strip - Weatherproof L1012V-MC2-1665 1 $39.99

R108 RGB Inline Remote Controller CTR-R108M 1 $14.99

They slipped into the original track. I did have to splice and fit the two wire to RGB connector into the track.

My awning lights have been working, but coming loose from the track. Replaced once by the dealer, and coming loose again. The next fix will be by me, not the dealer. You know, when it warms up...

It warmed up plenty down here... it was a beautiful day temperature wise. I was in T shirt and shorts working in the shop.

Be heading to Detroit soon, hoping for a little snow, but no blizzards, per favore.

WW,
Spent 2 hours last night and another hour this morning snowblowing the driveway. And I loved it.... I love having four seasons here in MN.

Thanks WW. Looks like I'll be reaching out to Hitlights!
