We just got back from camping for the past few days and I was surprised to see all the replies! We had no trouble with the awning this time, but there were no gusty winds at all. We are going to try the suggestions a couple people made to buy or make knobs that will 'bite' more. If there is still a problem we'll have to tie it to the ground with stakes. Remember you cannot tie the awning down without some kind of support.
