Lubricating slide 27HFS?

Has anyone done this yet? I went to do it and other than the tracks on either side of the slide, nothing is exposed. the last couple of times it sounded kinda squeeky when rolling in and or out

I think there is some rollers under the bottom of the slide that it rolls on.

Thanks JR, I was only considering the nylon gears to the aluminum rack. I have to get that lubricant. That also got me searching youtube for other Lippert presentations; manual override the slide is also on there.

I also spray the gaskets around the slide and the rails with dry silicone lube a couple times a year to prolong the life of the gaskets.

You can also use wd-40 on the gaskets.

True, but WD-40 smells.

Maybe some PAM or an unscented Cooking Spray.
Maybe a better idea would be some Mineral Oil or even some vegetable oil although the cooking oils could attract critters.

Or not.

The Mineral Oil is generally a petroleum product. Very weak as a rule. Some of it is food grade like they use on cutting boards.

Maybe some bees wax or even furniture wax. Paraffin?

Lots of non-chemical, non-smelly choices out there
