Mounting TV in 27HFS

Help me out folks. My wife and I have searched this forum for two days and not found what we are looking for but we both know we saw it in here somewhere...
Is there a backer board in the front "bedroom" area of the 27HFS for mounting the TV to? or have folks just found a stud to attach to?
thanks in advance.

There is a old thread about mounting TV in the 27 HFS. I tried to copy and paste but it didn't work.

I mounted mine using a "Mor Ryde" articulating bracket. The lower right hole is approximately 20 1/2" up from bottom of window frame and 2 1/2" in from edge of window frame. I used a straight pin holding it with pliers to probe through the wall board and find a solid mounting point.

Yeah, we have an articulating bracket similar to that and it seems there is a stud in that area. Also kinda feels like there might be a backer board toward the front more, under the cabinet.

Not sure about a backer board toward the front. The spot I used is strong and I believe allowed the best viewing from the bed.
