Agree, beautiful area. I just spent 10 days going up thru the interior of Oregon, enjoying the autumn foliage, beautiful countryside with rivers or lakes at every campground. There are beautiful rolling hills with Xmas tree farms and beautiful Pine, Aspen, Red Maple and fern forests. I stopped at a nice roadside stand yesterday after passing by Mt. Hood and picked some apples, got cider and cut a bouquet of beautiful Dahlias(the ladies like this one.) I camped last night on the scenic Columbia River and will follow it today to the coast and then back down.

Another Washingtonian!!! Hurray.

The wife and I just bought a 2016 29udql5, which we take delivery of on Friday. Hoping to get a few late trips in to ensure the systems are operational (plus using it for shelter at the in-laws for Thanksgiving and Christmas). First solid run will be late April in North Idaho boondocking for Boomershoot.

Hopefully at some point we can cross paths. The wife and I are planning on getting out at least a couple weekends a month with some longer trips in July and September with the new kiddo.

Those pictures were awesome. Can you tell me more about Ocean Shores, WA and Roosevelt, WA - gorge ? My wife and I are looking into a possible trip up to the NW next year and we are looking for ideas on places to stay.

Ocean shore, WA - I will be there at least 2 times a month during the winter months- fantastic kite boarding - there is a state park there - that is what's pictured --

but I recommend the RV park at Damon Point - it's wide open no shelter but your right on the ocean ----and that's where we Kiteboard at - it's also a great place to surf or look for spotted owls - Click image for larger version

Roosevelt, WA - is a free campground- no services more of a wind surf - kiteboarding spot - basically upper lot first come first serve - so you can park and get a great view if you arrive midweek --- my favorite spot in the gorge is Marryhill state park - big rv spaces - grassy - but you have to plan ahead to get a spot there in the summer - they book up fast Click image for larger version

There are lots of places to stay in the gorge - you could go down the gorge to the OR coast - OR coast has a lot more to see than WA coast - it's a beautiful drive down the OR coast ---- the only tip I can give you is if your planning on staying at any state park in WA, OR, CA you need to make reservations now for next summer
