Do not use API CK spec oils that aren't Ford Approved. Most CK oils do not protect engine against wear and Ford has a special bulletin about the topic.

Being that I have a CDL, I kinda know this but thanks. 1K wait? mainly b/c this truck is so smart, it actually knows when you hookup a trailer and on my Ford-Trucks.com site, it is highly recommended to do this wait, hence the Mfgr has nothing to void any potential warranty claims on the engine. But I had this minor debate already on that forum, I just said oh well, I shall follow that rule of thumb then.
