New 29HFS owner.....A few questions

Hello. I have recently purchased a (new to me) lightly used 2015 XLR 29HFS. I am new to the forum and this is my first camper. I have, in the past, used a travel trailer on occasion that was not my own so I am fairly comfortable with the towing / set up aspect. I have a 3/4 ton tow vehicle with a WD system. Towing home went very well. The dealer went over all of the features with me but I have a few questions remaining and the owners manual seems to be a little lacking in specifics. There are two switches on the outside water hook up panel. One is labeled light and one is labeled pump switch. Neither seem to do anything. The city water connection as well as the transfer switch to fill the tank seems to be self explanatory. Everything else seems to work as it should other than a few outside lights the dealer is sending me for replacement. Also, are there any tricks / advice anyone can offer me for this model to keep me out of trouble in the future? I am excited to be part of the forum! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The red switch is your 12 volt water pump. This pulls water from your fresh water tank. Fill your fresh water tank via the blue valve shown in pic. The white switch is simply a lighted switch to add a little light to see within the compartment at night.

Thanks for the responses. Interestingly enough I have a switch for the pump in the bathroom as well. The pump works with the outside switch in the off position. With the bathroom switch in the on position it seems to energize the outside switch.

My spring 2015 29HFS looks like this. I agree with what R3Jones said above. But will add that there is a pump switch in the bathroom as well. I can use either switch to turn on my pump. I just use the switch in the bathroom though.
FYI...

Shrevekr,
I would recommend sealing up the hole around your water full port. If you get rain, it can/will come thru that opening. It happened on my first trip out.

Finally out camping so I could take some pics.
First one is the caulking I was taking about
Second one is a pressure regulator for when I hook up to camp water.

I'm glad you mentioned the sealant. I likely would not have though of that until I had a problem. Thank you! Have you ever tried to do a gravity fill on fresh water at a dry site? I'm thinking I may have to rig up a tank with an electric pump.
