New guy from Tampa

Hi, I just found your forum and I currently considering buying a XLR hyperlite 27 toyhauler. I currently own a KZ but a toyhauler would work out better for our needs. I saw the FR hyperlite at Lazydays and my wife and I really liked the lay out. I am gathering all the info on this brand and I am wondering about the quality. I have read some complaints that FR products are poorly made. I believe you can find complaints on anything. I would like some input from owners before I make my decision to buy.

Also, I live in FL. and am wondering if the 13.5k ac unit is enough?

Thanks,
Any help is appreciated!

Hi and welcome to the forums! Good idea about checking into any RV that you are interested in. Hope you find all the information you are seeking for your decision.

Take care,
Terier

PS
Most of us are pleased with our FR units.

Get the 15k. It is a cheap upgrade. BTW, what are you looking to haul? A RZR will barley fit. I wish the garage was a foot longer.

Also, what are you pulling with? If I had a 3/4 ton with a diesel, I would opt for something different.

I currently have a 2007 30 ft KZ trailer I pull. I am thinking about a toy hauler for my other stuff. I am getting apprehensive because of the negative stuff I am reading about the xlr.

I noticed that the XLRs underbelly is not covered, would this be a problem while driving in rain and getting the plywood wet?

Any reason why you are not looking at a fifth wheel? With the 3500lb axels, it doesn't leave much room for toys. If I had a bigger truck, I would have went with a fifth wheel.

I really want something smaller, I saw the setup the xlr has and I thought it would fit my needs.
