New to me 24hfs

Quick question on my new to me 2014 24hfs...where is the fresh water tank on the unit? I'm hoping its in front of the axles, but after doing some reading, I'm not totally sure.

I'm not positive and I can't really tell from looking at the floor plan. Based on the kitchen / bath location, I'm pretty sure grey and black are forward, but not sure about FW. Look for the fresh water drain line on the outside underneath. They're usually directly connected to the tank.

The low water drains are basically under the front bed. The water heater is just in front of the bathroom. Do you mean the low water drains or is there a separate drain for fresh water tank?

Your FW tank should have a separate drain, usually right on the bottom. Unless you have an enclosed underbelly, it should be easy to spot.

It does have an enclosed underbelly. I thought all the XLR hyperlites did. I'll crawl under on Saturday and take a peek at a fw drain.

Fw tank

The fresh water tank is behind the axles in front of the fuel tank

That's what I was afraid of. That seems like an odd spot for it. Mine doesn't have the fuel tank on it, but with a Rhino in the back and a full tank of water, I'm worried about having enough tongue weigh. I've not loaded it and pulled it this way yet, but I would think it would be light on the tongue.

I'm pulling with an equializer hitch, but don't want to be loaded wrong.

I do not know your unit, but usually it will be straight in line with the fill spout. Also when you fill it there should be an overflow underneath that will be an indicator. You would think right over the axles, but ours is a bit rearward

My water fill is right behind the fridge. I've never filled it, so I'll find out Saturday.

No fill spout... it has to be filled under pressure from the fresh water tank fill nozzle on the side which can be any distance from the tank also the FW tank flow hose.. which has no cap on it... should be at the fresh water tank. Like others have pointed out there is a fresh water tank drain which has a cap on it, at least from the factory.
