I didn't have time to measure at its pouring rain but it does look nose high to me. I'll just the hitch and give it another go. Thanks for all the help.

A little off topic and I haven't read every single thread on this site but I have not seen one where a person was looking at a TV for the purpose of towing fast. That was a secondary topic (a good tv to maintain highway speed) but not primary. I have read a bunch where the truck was undersized........... My diesel gauge drops as I drive just like everyone else. If yours doesn't drop it may be broken........
To the OP as stated I would measure and adjust the height. A small adjustment has a huge impact especially in longer trailers.

I'd also bet your trailer tires maybe only rated for 65mph and be sides driving 70 with a rig like that just invites accidents. Consider stopping distances. . Later RJD

lots of new trailer tires are now rated for 75 mph . doing 55 in a 70 /75 posted zone can get you hurt and cause accidents . if you can't do stay with 5 mph of posted limits get off the hwy and take a secondary route

Every Interstate that I have seen has a MAX/MIN (example: 70/40) speed limit. With two or more lanes. It would seem that there are 'fast lanes and slow lanes'. For you to say that "if your can't stay with in 5mph of posted limits" is a little over the top for one to say. I will drive in a safe manner for me and those around me and for my equipment. Driving crazy fast in heavy traffic and not having room to stop or slow down like a car will have you ending up on a tow hook because of the crash that you are in from going to fast. Drive the conditions. Keep your spacing, because people will continually jump in front of you (I guess you don't like that? Neither do I, but I know that is the way it is.) Keeping up with traffic is not goal #1, driving safely at a good steady pace is. Driving on secondary roads all of the time could be and sometimes is more unsafe than 10-15 mph slower on the interstate.

maybe we can agree to disagree .
so what is crazy fast ? what is driving crazy fast in heavy traffic have to do with driving safe seems that not very safe .
Now i don't think going with the flow and keeping up with traffic is over the top . what is over the top is those that think they own the road and do 55 in the left lane because the right lane is a bit rough for them .
yes people pull in front of you all the time i always keep a safe distance . don't know about you
driving safely at a steady pace is good , driving to slow for the go of traffic causes more issues then solves and is more dangerous.
i can understand someone buying a truck so they can't go over 55 mph hence the f150 but stay on secondary roads which in most cases are far safer travel then on a major interstate . if your going 15mph less then traffic that's a good time to think of pulling off the road especially in heavy traffic .
to each their own and with any luck our ships won't pass

I was told to measure the the height between the tires of the trailer, to where the top of the ball would be ( if your tongue is mounted directly to frame then top of frame, if it is mounted to a frame that mounts below the trailer frame. Then bottom of frame at tires. Then make sure your ball height on level ground is at that height. Hope I'm explaining that OK.

New truck now pulling problems.
I do 60 to 65 comfortably if someone doesn't like it I'm sorry but my tires are rated for 60 max and I'm gonna be safe. And I could put money on it that this is not a crime so as long as I'm within the limits of the law , the road hog road ragers will have to just deal with me , sorry

don't get your panties in a bunch . what you do as long as it's not interfering with others is good . so everybody that runs the speed limit is a road hog rager , um did not know that . anybody that does 70 or even 75 with the unit in tow is un-safe ? did not know that either . i drive per conditions sometimes 60 65 and even 70 and 75 if conditions permit

Didn't mean to come off as if my panties were in a bunch but some of you guys are a bit rough on this topic. Be considerate to those on the far right lane staying maybe 5 under the limit , that's me and I'm just trying to play it safe and there are more lanes for the speedy ones and for those who want to go all out , there's always that left lane.
