They also have decent stock, which was important yesterday.

I currently have a 3/4 ton dodge with a Cummins engine. I work in finance so my truck is exclusively for my hobbies. I never thought I would need more towing capacity that the 13K I can tow, I passed on a full ton pickup for comfort reasons. We went and looked at some Keystone toy haulers with wood frames that were really heavy and I'd need to trade my truck in to purchase. Of course my wife (who was pushing for this purchase) fell in love with a 15,000 pounder. The 300X12 had everything I wanted, my wife was unsure, we took a look at a few other trailers I could tow and she quickly realized that even though she didin't like how much space the island in the kitchen took up, she really loves the bedroom and bathrooms so she quickly understood why this trailer was the one.

My first 5'ver and I can't wait.
I was just re-reading this post and wanted to make sure we were talking about the same trailer. You mention the island in the kitchen but I have never seen a 300X12 with an island. They are all wrap around standard kitchens that I have seen. Does your have an Island??

Same one, it isn't an island, bad description by me. More of a breakfast nook looking thing that protrudes into the living room when you come in the door, it makes the living room area look smaller than the trailers that have the kitchen counter along the wall.

Ok XLR folks, Did some checking and the HP stands for High Profile. Meaning that the master is at full height with out taller people having to duck when they get close to the front of the camper inside.

Got this off the website that I bought my camper off of. RV007.

They had a 2012 that was the same model as mine with HP so I went and looked. They changed more than that. I can say glad mine is a 2012 model. Wasn't happy with a lot of the small changes that they made.

Happy Camping

Please clarify for me. Are you saying they offer both a high profile and a regular version? Or are you saying in 2013 they now only offer the HP? Also what are some of the other changes you are talking about? Thanks for the info!

Just looked up on the main site. Looks like that there are some that are not the no. But the ones that are up don't came in a non no. Hope that makes since.

I own a 2012 386x12

So the changes that they made that I am not fond of are the following.

Pass through for the bathroom from the master bedroom is gone. They made it into a wall so to go to the bathroom from the master bedroom you have to come all the way out down two stairs to get the door open

When they made this change they also made the wardrobe slide smaller so less storage space. To me in a camper is right at the top of my list

The one above is the biggest disappointment in the 2013. Which would keep me from buying it. The others are small.

The space under the TV they didn't put a door on so again storage space wasted

They didn't put any cabinets in the garage. I have two small ones. Use they to the max!!! One was just for the TV hookup and I had the dealer put cabinet doors on it for me since I don't put a TV back there

Also they made a lot of the walls dark!!!! This is just a personal thing of mine that I don't like. makes me feel like I am in a cave. I also thinks it hides a lot of the features of the pretty cabinet and counters. I know my camper is dark enough that most of the time you need o cut a light on to see what you are doing. of course some of that is our fault. We added black vent covers to match the AC units..

The 2013 are also 1 1/2 foot shorter than my 2012?????żżżżżżż

Looking at pics not sure where it went

I can see here it looks like the. made the what we call belly storage smaller

If you wan to go look at some PIC go to RV Dealer and Toy Haulers Specialists in Ringgold, VA

They also are awesome people to deal with. People drive from all over the US to buy a camper from there because their prices and service is that good

I hope this helps. Like I said a lot is just personal hang ups. Storage space to me is a must. they seemed to cut a good bit out

We own the 2012 XLR 35x12 and I heard the new you can get the floorplan flipped? In other words the party dinette slide is on the same side as the doors. I think that is a great idea, allowing you to be inside and to see the campsite from the couch, instead of seeing your neighbors campsite! They changed the loft area too and I didn't care for that!
