Chrism28,
First of Congrats. As for things to be aware of. Take your time on the PDI. This will get you thru most problem items. Open every drawer/door. Turn everything on/off/on. Walk around and inspect all external seals (windows, doors, etc...). Second, go camping as soon as possible to really test everything out (even if it's your driveway...).. There is nothing like living in the camper to find issues. Lastly, get a scheduled date to bring your camper back for items that you found. Mine was 60 days from purchase so I got a few camping trips in. For anything major, obviously you will need to bring it back right away.

Luckily, i have not had any major issues. But I do see that you have been lurking around on the forum. Many others will post comments as they see fit.

P.S. This forum is REALLY good...

Congrats, have a 29HFS on order as well...waiting is horrendous for my traveling man cave...lol May delivery here as well, hopefully it gets here in time for Memorial Day weekend as I'm already booked.

Just wish the dealer/manufacture would give me regular updates. I call them every couple of weeks for an update. Ordered on March 8th and still have not seen a facotry build sheet yet..

Chrism, this is pretty simple to explain, but I sort of want to attach a photo... but... what I did was run a #4 awg and a #10 awg from the distribution block (now relocated) at the front of the unit B+ to the utilities access compartment (I jokingly call it REAM) where I fused the #10 to run both the cigarette lighter ports (dual) in the pantry (lower doors) and to a WP plug on the outside (by the other plugs) to power my Winegard CarryOut.

By running to +B I don't need 120vac. I typically use those ports for USB charger adapters at this time.

I also ran #10 and #4 ground to the frame directly below.

The #4 awg is for audio power (head unit, two amps and capacitor) located in the pantry cabinet. Where I distribute through breakers.

I'm not sure how well a small inverter with a cigarette lighter plug would work, you still have to have very little voltage drop from battery to inverter I would get it as close to the battery as possible and maybe run an extension cord from inverter to TV. Voltage drop on the 120 vac side isn't an issue.
