The first thread I made was to ask about the AC 13.5 vrs 15 BTU, after getting feedback I called my dealer and changed to the 15 BTU for $200!!!!

But I also got a 233s roo that has three tent fold downs, that are going to be exposed to the outside!!!!!

PS nice toy hauler

Congratulations on your order! We ordered ours what seems like forever ago and are picking up within the week. It wasn't hard waiting when there was 3 feet of snow outside. Waiting now that spring is around the corner is killing us...

Well, ours took longer because it went for full body paint after it was built. Ordered Dec 1st. Came off the line Jan 19th. So, a little over 7 weeks and if it didn't have to go to paint, would have been to the dealer by week 8. Paint added 1-2 weeks then it had to go back to the plant for final exterior items to be bolted on like awnings etc. Finally made it to the dealer a couple weeks back and we pick up next week.... The wait didn't bother us as we had a huge snow year up in the northeast. It would not have been fun backing it down my 500 foot driveway before the melt started... However, now that the snow is departing, the wait is killing us!

Hey dennismo, my 30HDS is due in any day and I am getting excited. I haven't had to wait long though because I picked one that rvwholesalers already had on order. I however am not getting the 15k btu a/c, they had it ordered with the 13.5k, so hopefully I won't be disappointed. First trip scheduled for early May. Congrats on the new TH and have fun.

I've looked at the model you ordered and it is very nice. The wife would like more counter space than my 29 has, but there are ways around that. I also jumped on a previously ordered unit with the 13.5K standard. I wish I had ordered it with the 15K and a few other options. It took just as long to get it as if I had ordered. In fact, I am not sure it was ordered until I signed for it. Also from RVW.

Welcome from Florida, glad to have new members!

To use the garage in August / September heat a second in the garage will be necessary. I think a 13.5K back there would be overkill but the 11Ks I see are more money. I don't see a unit any smaller; that is, in a roof model.

Yes, when it's limited use, you hate to spend the money. They have ducted stand alone units that some people vent through their salem side vents in the garage but I prefer a roof unit myself for it's clean installation...

I've seen a small trailer that had a small spit unit (8K) with the compressor on the tongue and the very small evaporator / indoor fan near top of wall. The beauty of these is their amazing quiteness; most of those are two phase. It will have to be a roof unit and probably a scratch and dent 13.5K
