We will be using the outside tv for the 1st time this year thanks to Santa. Our bracket came with the camper. We have the cable connection under the bracket so I know we will be fine there. What about if we are where there is no cable. Is the antenna tied into that connector for regular channels?

Mine is connected to cable and the roof top wingman antenna for OTA local channels. I also ran coax from the rear and front of my TT to my outdoor kitchen where I keep my satellite receiver which also connects to this TV. Front and rear connections allow me to connect my directv HD dish to either end of my TT in order to avoid trees or other obstructions.

ok, so i thought i was doing myself a favor by getting DTV to come out and swap out my 3rd box for a new HD unit, but i just realized (from reading an earlier post) that i now only have HDMI outs, how will i connect the box to the coax "in" on the trailer to watch the mounted tv's ? do they make an adapter that will go from hdmi to coax in ?

i posted this question as a new thread in an appropriate forum too, but figured its' relevant as we are all mounting tv's ..

Edit: talked to my dtv guy and if i get an "rf modulator" i use the rca jacks on the back, pluged into the rf modulator, that then has a coax out that could plug into the trailer coax "in". Or .. just run the coax through the window to the hd box and then use the hdmi cable to connect directly to a tv.

I am looking for a place to get another bracket like the outside one to mount a smaller tv in the bedroom of our TT. Also looking for the male part to put on my bracket for the smaller bedroom tv so we can use it outside instaed of moving around the 32 in main TV. Any help is greatly appreciated. My bracket is the same as pictured above in "melk-man's" post.

The forest river part number for both the bracket and swing arm parts is 10-13303A. The price at my local dealer ship is $123 for the kit. I know this because I want to add another one to my camper too.

Melkman, can you take a picture showing the speakers and door etc. for the outside tv mount? I want to see if I can figure out where to mount mine with a picture.
Thanks

I have the same outdoor mount but the existing TV does not have a mount attached that adapts to this? I cannot find anything online that will adapt to this mount.

I just ordered this mount. It comes with 2 mounts, I will mount one inside and the other outside. You can move the tv from indoors to outdoors.

Can you tell me where you ordered it from and/or what the part# is?
Thanks very much.
