pass thru dinette XLR hyperlite

Getting ready to put in a pass thru dinette in my XLR 27HFS ,
Anyone did this, and do you now enjoy.?
Do you have to remove the bed now in there.? Still have to get 4 wheelers in there.
Thanks

I will be watching this thread, as I am thinking of ordering a 30 foot XLR hyper lite, with the pass through dinette option. So if you find out, please post up. What I really want to know is how do the couches get up out-of-the-way for putting your toys in. On Forest River's website, photos look like the bed is still above the couches and table. Not sure how that whole thing works.

Wish we had one also but I was told when made as a bed, it is not very comfortable. Too many seams in the cushions.
We took out our booth and put in two recliners there. Then put the table mounts in the garage and use two computer chairs on wheels at the table. Downside is to lower the bed all the way down, one must remove the table from its pedistals and lay down the computer chairs. Not a real big deal though.

meandmylabs, I have thought about removing the dinette also. Pretty useless for us. Our bull dog loves it and has claimed it as his. That means we have a "pet bed slide".
If possible could you post pictures and the brand of recliners you used.

Thanks

We looked at adding the pass through dinette and removing the slide dinette, however it took up to much room in the garage for the larger bikes we haul. We also like the bed to lower all the way down.

We use our folding chairs and folding tables in the garge if we need to eat inside.

Sure like the layout of the 29HFS better than the 27. Also like the recliner option over the dinette.

Thank you for posting the pictures, I like the recliners idea.

You say it took too much room in garage, didntit utilize the lift system in the garage area to get it out of the way for bikes
thanks

The Folding dinette I was show at the dealer had seats on each side that folded up against the walls. I'm guessing they stuck out about a foot from the wall on each side of garage. I have looked at other toy haulers that have the folding seats as part of the bed lift system. But again the dealer told me that the fold against the wall type were my only option. At the time I took his word, now I know better and if I decided to add the folding seats I would do more research.

For now I am ok with the way we set up the garage area, it works fine for us because most of the time we sit outside. If we do decide to sit inside setting up the folding chairs and tables only take a minute and is way more comfortable than the slide dinette. Besides we already have them and don't have to buy anything extra.

Yes the quren bed is uncomfortable as would be the dinette...we changed the mattress on the queen and it was better. Not sure how to make the dinette more comfortable
