picked up 29xlr today

Got my new29 xlr from Ohio today . checked the unit out and other then a few minor things that were taken care of promptly. there was a cracked fender skirt and they are sending me a new one to the house and should be there when i get home in 11/2weeks . I will report on couches RV nation soon . lets just say it was an eventful day for now . I'll give a small hint ,has to do with the furnace . I did also find out after asking the sales guy 1.5 months ago that this unit and the propane cover can handle 30# tanks . i was told it could not . Also there are indeed 2 separate grey water tanks that are not connected in anyway other then at the dump point . Sitting at a campground 15 miles from the dealer , Andersen hitch went on well with out a hitch . seems to work good but only 15 miles the real test will be from
ohio to St.louis where i will stay 10 days with the folks, then off the Colorado .
I will be on the phone tomorrow with Forest River and depending on how things get resolved , I may or may not report some things . i'll try and get some pics soon

Northstar,
Congrats on finally getting the TH. I know the furnace has been a hot topic (sorry no pun intended...) but I'm hoping everything else is meeting your expectations.

Looking forward to your updates over the next few days as you continue to test out your new TH...

Northstar,
The camper looks really good at the campsite. Hope the rest of your trip with your parents is a good one.

Drive safe...

Just left there last week and yes, spent some time with Jeff. Was a completely professional gentleman as were all of his staff. Can't say enough about any of them. Just a fantastic experience buying from them and I've bought two other new rigs in the last 4 years and negotiated with many other dealers. They are by far the best in the business. So, yes, I know him. Or, at least I did for the day I was there. I know his sales manager much better however, who was outstanding through my 3 month order period and during delivery. Didn't see a raging nut job there though. I guess the old saying holds true. If everyone else in the world is crazy.... it's probably you....
