Picking up a new 29HFS Mon

Hey Guys,
We just pulled the trigger on a new 16' 29HFS and will be bringing it home Monday. I've been shopping for over a month trying to figure out what options and prices I had to work with and in CO there's not much. Options: 15k AC, High Pass dinette, Convection, Elec tongue jack, Off Grid Prep, Adrenaline/Kick start, heated tanks. I didn't want the Prep or extra AC but oh well.

Now I have about 20 questions on this thing but I'll wait until I get the unit home and start playing with it before I start asking.

This will be our first bumper pull, we've had 2 pickup campers and loved them but with 2 kids it was just too cramped. I just did a XLR search and wow looks like I'll be reading for a week!

Craig

Welcome, there are really good people here to answer questions or give suggestions. Highly recommend using the search feature. Most of the rookie questions have been answered (I was asking a TON this time last year...). Plenty of "mods" to keep you busy. You might as well start shopping for supplies while you wait for the trailer to arrive.

Again, welcome...

Congratulations on your new unit. The 29 HFS seems to be a popular model so you will have many new friends. Happy camping.

Welcome from Wisconsin and congrats on your new camper! Go under the Library tab above and print out a PDI checklist to take with you on Monday.

I have a 16' Toyota Tundra so I'm hoping it's not too small! I've read and spoked to several people with same setup and they seem fine, we'll see.

I just finished up the Ride Rite Air Bag install so I'm ready to pick it up Monday. I've been getting packages yesterday and today for the little stuff, can't wait to start modding it up.

Just fine but it was unloaded so I'll have to see how it does loaded in the mountains.

It pulled very easy even without the WDH, I'm setting that up today so it will be a good comparison.

Yes let us know. I have a 2013 tundra and pull a 7000 pound loaded toy hauler and I am very happy with my tundra. Would be interested with your set up as you will probably be a couple thousand pounds heavier than me.

Ok I'll keep you posted, I spoke to a guy in Utah who pulls the same setup with a 14' Tundra in his mountains with no issue so I think it will be fine. I should be about 9500pds in RV and 220pd atv in bed of truck(Kids atv) when maxed out.
