Smile Question for Bullet Bob Re: Battery Compartment Space

Bob, I'm planning on getting an XLR 375 AMP in the future and I notice on YOUTUBE that there is a single house battery on the right side and a compartment on the left side of the unit for a second battery.
I am planning on boondocking and dry parking. And putting four six volt golf batteries in a battery bay to support a solar system with associated equipment. Inverter, controller and whatever other periphery necessary to facilitate a solar energy system.
It appears to me from what I can observe looking at the YouTube video's that the XLR 375 AMP is not going to be too freindly to my design.
From your experience and insight do you see that there is much for me to be concerned about regarding my concern about building a four battery bay on the XLR 375 AMP?
While I have you on the line, I would like to ask you another question.
The biggest factor in choosing the XLR 375 AMP is that appears to me that if my DW and I should want to park overnight and wish to not open up any slides, that we will still be able to access the refrigerator, lavatory and bedroom.
Can you confrim and verify this?
Thank you.
Rafe

I have 2016 375 AMP and you will not be able to access the refrigerator without opening the slides. We love our 375 because of the residential refrigerator option and the living room layout of the couch to tv angle.

Stan, thank you for your insight!
Would one then be able to get to the refrigerator area from the garage?
Also, how is much access space does your eft side battery compartment have?
I'm considering a solar power system if I go with the 375 AMP

Living room slide closed blocks the door from the garage to the kitchen. I have one 12 volt battery in each compartment because of the residential refrigerator inverter, but might be tight getting two 6 volts in each compartment. There is enough room, would have to make a special frame to accommodate two 6 volt batteries, but could be done.

That's encouraging.
I'm in a pickle, though.
When I had an F-250 7.3, I was hankering for a Voltage.
Now I have a Dodge DRW '09

Now I have a Dodge 6.7 and I'm really interested in the XLR 375 AMP. And I don't have to tell you why as you are a happy camper in yours.

So I will have to upgrade

I also have the residential refrigerator, I'm not sure if the battery is getting charged while plugged into power. Would you know if the inverter needs to be turned on for the battery to charge. The original battery did not last long and I put in an Optima gel battery into it.

You should have two batteries, one on each side. Inverter is wired to one battery and they may not be connected together. You will need to run a positive from main battery to second battery so the inverter will stay charged during towing and shore power.

There are 2 batteries and 2 inverters, the main inverter and battery and the refrigerator inverter and battery. What I'm not sure of is if from the factory they set it up so that the refrigerator battery will charge from the main inverter while plugged into power or while running, or if the refrigerator inverter needs to be on for the battery to charge.

You need to verify both batteries are tied together since the main battery is the only one wired to charge during tow and shore power. I know this because mine was not tied together from the factory.

Very good I'll do that and run a wire between the batteries. Thank you

I believe I'll wire the batteries together though an isolator
