Railing above kitchen cabinet

The space above the kitchen cabinet is perfect for storing coffee maker and anything really. Has anyone with 27HFS added railing or something to keep anything from falling off while traveling?

I've added railing to our old rig before to take advantage of that space. Home depot and Lowe's sell and unfinished oak "mini railing" looking thing for furniture making.....or maybe its just for this? lol Whatever though, yea, it works great. I stained it to match and used liquid nails and a few brads and it held just fine. Good for the "lite" stuff, but watch out for breaking your coffee pot if it bounces out!

Good Idea. I was loading up our new XLR for the first time just the other day and looking at that space wishing there was some kind of ledge or something. Even just for paper towels and paper products. Thanks for the tip.

We use that area for plastic "shoe boxes." First Aid Kit and such.

I dont use it for anything untill I m at site then use it for everything including the toaster oven. if I add the railing then I am limited on what I can put up there when I am stopped. The stuff I put up there is on the dinnette while traveling. At least till I change things around

I mounted some inside corner molding across the front. Some cloth baskets of various height ride up there very nicely and are easy to retrieve because it's only 5/8 " high.
