Kaboom, For me, the first time I loaded my 07 Electra Glide Classic it was straight up the middle and walking back down is when I noticed it. With the new door I've always loaded the bikes from either side. My son's bike is only about 500 lbs but have loaded them on different sides without issue. Based on my experience Forest River and Lippert stood behind their product 100%. I can PM you their contact information if needed.
