Rear Queen Beds
The bottom bed when lowered and flattened to sleep on, pops up so much that you cannot sleep on it. The back cushions that form the bench seats are too padded on the backside to lay flat. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes! And we are also interested to hear a solution. Not sure why it was set up that way. 🤔

Yup, looks exactly like ours! We laid on ours & it is not comfortable. So, understand your concern.

We thought about getting a full size foam (as thick as the middle), cutting out the middle where it is high, then laying it back down & hopefully it will all be evenly flat. Just an idea.

We tried a topper, so much higher in the middle it's very uncomfortable. We are having company this weekend, just going to use the top bunk with the topper.

Thought of this also. Gonna give it a try soon. It is a stupid design. My brother has a keystone impact with a nice flat seat setup that folds flat is is decently compfy. My xlr is not, and I'm the one who sleeps there.

Well the way it was explained to me after talking to forest river is that it was actually designed too be a sitting area and not a sleeping area that's what the top bunk is for

Yes, but at the same time they sell the idea that the whole rig can sleep 8 (at least in our case). They sell both uses.

The toy hauler is sold as having 2 queen size beds in the rear. Like anything else, you really don't know how it's going to work until you actually going camping and realize 2 adults cannot sleep on it.

We use a king size flat sheet and use sheet clips/ suspenders on all 4 corners to hold them on. Works well for our kids.

Get some foam (they should have different thicknesses at a fabric store or walmart) and cut it to fit the low parts then cover with a mattress cover , that's what I do for our jackknife sofa,
