This is one of the mods I'm still thinking about. There have been several posts in the past, some with pictures of the mod.

If I remember correctly they used either a futon style couch or euro style recliners. Since the 29hfs has the optional recliner arrangement, I thought about doing research to see if it would fit in my 27hfs. I would imagine the cost is pretty high from the factory.

I'm also hesitant because our bull dog loves to nap on the dinette seats. I also hate to give up the storage space under the seats even though it is a pain to use.

Initially I picked out the 29hfs with the 3 recliners, I loved it, then the wife had me switch over to dinette, I hate it!! Recliners were awesome t hang out and watch some football. Dinette I feel like I'm back in school behind a miniature desk. Lazydays wanted $1300 more for the rv with the recliners. Personally do not like dinette and it's worth the xtra money. I know lazydays in Tampa wanted $1300.

yes i'm thinking the recliners would have been the better choice!
I also find the dinette table too high. Might try chopping it down over the winter to see if that makes it any better.

We've got a MicroLite 18FBR with dinette. We keep the dinette set up as a bed and lounge on it like a couch. I am tempter to remove the dinette's benches and turn them to run along the wall like a sofa. I don't have much room to work with, and I'm a big guy, so we may end up putting a quality futon in that space, possible on a riser to keep some storage under it...

I love our factory recliners way more than I dislike not having a place to sit and eat! Another instance when the DW's foresight was way better than mine...

Took mine out and replaced with recliners at a local home furniture store.

Has anyone modified the table height? How much did you cut off? How did you do it? Pictures.
