Red switch near black flush
Does anyone know what the red switch in this picture is for? I have read all the manuals. Thought I would check here before call the dealer.
Thanks...

Tank heaters?
I note the city water and fresh tank fill connection.

On our Berk, there is a switch near there that turns the water pump on and off.
And of course there is a switch inside the RV also.

I think the suggestions about the tank heater could be it. I do have the extreme package. I will look in that folder of info tonight.
Thanks...

I was told the tank heater switch was the second one on the bathroom next to the light switch.

Happy you called out the second switch in the bathroom. That was another question I had...

With its proximity to the city water versus tank switch, I would tend to lean towards it being a second water pump switch. In the Legacy, there's a water pump switch on the water control panel as well as one inside the coach with all the other controls. I would expect tank heaters inside so you could turn them on if needed without going outside. If you flip it on, do you year the pump pressurize?

I believe the switch your referring to in the bathroom is the fuel pump switch.

With all the wonderful replies here and some emails to the dealer. The outside Red Switch should be a second water pump switch. I will
test/listen for the pump to come on when I fill the fresh tank again. As for the second switch in the bathroom next to the light switch. This should be the tank heater. I will confirm this as well via the "flyer" that came with all the manuals. Just was not thinking about using the tank heater when I have the AC on...
Once again....thank you everyone for the replies.

I have extreme package - the switch in picture is second water pump switch and the second switch in bathroom next to light switch is the heated tanks switch that only activates if the outside temp is below 40

What would be the purpose of a secondary water pump?

Not a second water pump, just a second switch for the one water pump. Allows you to turn on the pump from either inside or outside the RV.

I switched mine on yesterday and got nothing. I couldn't hear it pressurizing or doing anything.
