I just Bought a 4000 watt PowerHouse. Electric Start, Remote start, Fuel Injection and almost 9 hours at full load. I ran this at -20 C and it worked like a champ. Running Premium in it, 5W30 Synthetic Oil.

PH4000Ri/E | Powerhouse Generators

Get this, I paid $1400.00 Canadian at the Toronto RV Show. Best deal out there.

I've seen the ph 3100 remote start could not find a 2100 w remote start . the 3100 compared to the champion 3100 is a couple hundred more

looks like a good unit . didn't read any reviews on it yet . it is considerable louder then a honda 3000 at 48/58 db and the PH is 58 /69 that equates to almost twice as loud . The more i look into it i think I'm becoming penny wise and pound foolish , spend a 1000 now and end up down the road with an onan and a used generator i will need to sale or maybe just bite the bullet and get the onan spend the 2900 and be done with it . since it would have a 30 gallon fuel tank to draw off of and db levels very low for a 4000 68 at 10' where most others say 68db at 23' . I just may have to cough up the dough

was just reading about the power house gens seems the 2100 does come with remote start . What stood out was it says to shut off remotes switch at unit and fuel when shutting off . what good is a remote start if you have to go out and shut the remote switch off and the fuel . makes no sense . that would mean you would have to go out in the cold morning turn on the fuel flip the remote start switch on the unit . then go back in side and use the remote .lmao

x2 PH.
A simple comparison when replacing with LEDs. With only two incandescent lights on (4 bulbs) this load caused the fan in the 30amp converter run, where 8 lights (16 bulbs) no fan. I know this isn't very scientific, but that told me something.

The impression I got was if you don't run it for awhile, or store it, shut if off completely... so the battery doesn't run down.

I think your gut is right about the Onan and doing it right. The convenience and quality is the way to go, if you can swing it financially. Probably not the place to pinch pennies.

Yep just need to sale some more stuff i don't need . the 2 big expenses now is the onan and a kawasaki klr 650 to replace my atv which i sold last week .
the onan is the way to go really . why pay 2200 for 2 honds when for less then 700 more you can get the onan and be done
