The Home Depot box IS weather resistant, with mounting tabs. Gasket on the lid to seal it.

Both Private and the State Parks, The park rangers, we call them Gestapo, always come and at least tell up to be quiet around our fire, I am sorry I am camping and having a good time I guess there is something wrong with that. Have even been threatehed to be thrown out. One night at a private campground I did not read the rules and it was lights out at 10PM, I will never stay there again!!!

I have also been asked to turn off my lights, seems some of the (older) full timers are cranky. they have even knocked on my door at 11pm asking me to turn my porch light off!

Light pollution interferes with our ability to view the starry sky (when it's not overcast). Please be considerate of your neighbors.

Really?? And it was your running lights? I would think the porch light and the scare light is way brighter (and possibly annoying at night), than any running lights! Our porch lights are bright and look like those alien machines on War of the Worlds!

Yes, and it's so nice that some others fulfill that need.
