S-1000 Smart Light

I installed the motion light today. I ordered the amber lens and the LED bulb, but it already had the LED. So, I used the bulb that I ordered on the other outside light; at the other door... at first the bulb pointed down, so I had to turn the socket in the fixture to get it to point out... don't try to turn the bulb itself.

It does seem kind of flimsy especially the lenses. I sealed the clear lens, which are I assume where it senses movement, a bit better and sealed up a hole top center of the main lens. Of course, I ran a bead of silicone around the housing to trailer wall, leaving the center bottom open to allow moisture or water to escape.

It has the ability to trigger a relay (optional extra), which could be used to turn on a light under your step, a cool LED one, for instance. I didn't get a chance to test it, but when you flip the wall switch, you get a regular light the first time; flip again turns on the motion light, and so on. I did pay a little less than the link shows the price to be.

Got mine few weeks ago. Best thing ever. Very bright and the motion feature works very well.

I don't know what my problem was, but I finally tested it last night and it works great. I didn't adjust anything... approaching the light from any direction causes the light to come on and stay on for about 2 minutes. I like it, too.

I wish they came with.the TT already installed. Also simple.lights like that would be nice in storage compartments

Love mine. Thanks for the suggestion. Tt is parked by the back yard and the dog has figured out if she goes by it the light comes on.
