There has been other issues like caps, washers falling in and kids putting rocks in the FWT supply.

This site has it all !

I guess to be 100% safe,,, you would need 2 of these,,,
1 for FWT & 1 for City water hook-up !!!

If your city water has this type of connection you have other issues.

Someone was complaining that the 3/4 "hose connection was a bad thing and I mentioned it prevents people from contaminating your water as a positive for this type of connection.

The point is with the 3/4" connection you do need a pressurized system to fill your FWT.

Also some of us learned that there is a new system on these trailers.

I have a 45 gallon flexible tank and a 12v pump to add additional water to my tank when needed for dry camping.

I've watched people on my last two trips doing the water jug fill up and I still think regardless of type of connection the larger container and pump is easier.

The point of this forum is to share experiences and to help others with problems. I've learned many things on this Forum about my trailer and products.

On this topic I learned about why there are locks on FWT, and if you catch someone standing next to FWT don't drink the water. 😂

There's this new invention just for this purpose. It's 100% effective in the use of pouring large quantities in to small-awkward openings. I'm pretty sure they have them most places by now.... It's called a funnel.

Yes it is. I prefer the days when you could shoot somebody for messing with my drinking water.

A few years ago they made us put in city sewer lines. They have a cleaning out in the front yard. Mine is next to a driveway on my neighbor's side. My sewer line backed up one day and I went and looked and found the cap off of the clean out. Come to find out my next-door neighbors kids unscrewed it and were dropping stones down it. Fortunately the snake took care of the problem. You never know I guess.

Ken we learned funnels don't work on this trailer. We also learned if the funnel works you need to invest in a lock.

We also learned that XLR trailers have different features than other trailers.
