Schwintek Slide Control Box

Hope for some help! We have a 2017 XLR 30HDS Hyper Lite, and would like to know where the LCI Control box is located. We don't have any problems, but would like any info you can provide. THANKS!

Hello,

look inside the subwoofer cabinet, that where they hid it on my Rockwood. Oh yeah if the slide is in and stuck I could not get to to it to reset it. I moved it to to accessible place.

I can't speak to your specific unit, but looking at your floor plan, it may be under one of your dinette benches. You would have to remove the cushions and lift up the thin plywood that's under the cushions.

I'm basing this guess on my 2503S's location. I have a kitchen/wardrobe slide, and my controller is "in the slide." It's under the wardrobe behind the panel with 3 hinges on it on the left in the pic. (It's hard to see, but there's a 3rd hinge on the left side of the door. You have to unscrew the hinge to open the door.) Another guy with the same TT had his controller to the right behind the non-removable panel. He moved it over so it would be behind the door.

Thanks, I will check it out. I have a sofa instead of the dinette, but the idea is the same.

Here's some Schwintek docs for you, in case you ever do have problems.

On my Flagstaff 27RLWS, one of mine was hidden in a cabinet that was inaccessible if the slide was in. Well guess which slide malfunctioned? You got it.....
Blindly I was able to remove the cabinet door hinges, fumble around and remove the screws to the controller and then was able to use the bypass mode to repair the slide. (Motor was bad)
lesson learned, moved the controller to an accessible cabinet............

2016 Sunseeker 2500TS, I have looked everywhere and have not found either of the 3 controllers for the 3 slide outs. One could be under the dinette slide out since I can see wires but nothing for the bed slide out or closet slide out. This is my 4th motor home and the worse for documentation.

I have located a strange looking, black, plastic "housing" screwed to the wall under the bathroom sink. Looks to be covering something, but I haven't looked inside yet, maybe that's it. These things seem to be mounted differently on a daily basis.

S, it was behind the panel under the range. You have to remove the panel.

UPDATE. I just received an e-mail from Forest River stating it is under one of the slide rooms. Sounds like post from ronzo101, and it sure might be an idea to move it, but at least that's where its supposed to be.

I saw your update after beginning this... Anyhew, You have 2 slides, right? I have 1 and the controller is on the outside frame directly below the dinette / ILO recliner slide out. Has a black plastic cover. Its a good idea to know how and to practice how to bring in if it fails. I assume that is what you are trying to do.

Very true! Just don't want get caught out in some remote area, and have a problem. I'm trying to learn as much as possible to be ready. As of now, we have had zero problems with out Hyper Lite!

Very smart HC. Yep, something like this can happen at the worst time so better to know how it works. I have a copy of this on my laptop.
