Shower door on 29hfs?

Has anyone installed or replaced curtain with shower door on the 29hfs hyperlite?

Not a bad idea, I would like one too. I'll have to search the web for that one.

Hey G, have you considered this: the opening wall to wall, is slightly less than 36", if the door slides a full half of this, the opening would be 18". I might fit through it now, but some might no. Plus it won't curve out, like the factory shower curtain rod. I just ordered the Extend-A-Shower rod, since so many rave about it.

My 27HFS, which have the same bathroom size as you, came with an accordion style shower door. Way too small, so I installed a curved shower curtain rod. Much roomier and appealing looking with the liner and outer curtain to match as well

Have you guys seen Extend-A-Shower? Its made by Stromberg Carlson. Besides extending out, it also flips inside the same amount, so the curtain hangs way inside the tub. The curtain rod my unit came with causes the shower curtain to hang out and interfere with the toilet. They make them in several finishes and in two lengths. I found what I think is the best deal from CW because of the free shippping. BTW, SC makes a lot of RV accessories.

Sorry tht took so long to post. This works great for us. I had to trim the curtains just right, both length and width. I think I have 8 rings on the rod. The corner water stops were from Home Depot.Click image for larger version

Yes the curtain is tight behind the toilet, but just the outer curtain is. I read a post from a member that put the toilet on a 45 degree angle for more room; and I plan on doing tht soon

Very nice mod. Water stops are definitely going to be a must.
