Slide Toppers on Toy Haulers

Slide toppers seem to be common on most premium level fifth wheels with the exception of toy haulers. I don't even see topper awning as an option for XLR. What the deal, cost, weight or who knows?

Typically it can be added as a dealer install. I installed myself.

I added them to my custom order XLR 415 amp. They will do them if you request it through your dealer.

We had the dealer add them when we ordered our trailer. They are nice to have since they keep debris off the slide when camping in wooded areas. The downside is they flap in high winds and they are tough to keep clean on the inside. I just spent time getting mildew off my one slide topper today.

Awning

We had dealer put on our 2nd slide out. We love it. Keeps debris from coming in.

Some, not most.

I wouldn't have a slide without one.

What color did you get? Think I would prefer white to reflect some of the heat.

We have white.. nor sure if the dealer offered colors. We also purchased a small blower to blow off debris before bringing in awning.
