Solar panel wiring?

My 2013 380 amp has this wire wrapped with electrical tape in the battery compartment. Is this for solar hookup? It does not have the solar prep option.

Better not be. That is some sort of connector to power a 12 volt DC device. Bet it is no more than a few amps.

It has a fuse in line and runs to battery. Any idea what it might be for? Possibly previous owner charged or ran something off of it? I taped it back up to avoid grounding it against something

I think the key words here are "previous owner." It looks like something he/she either hooked up to power from the battery (like maybe a rechargeable flashlight,) or to charge the battery.

Looks like the type of connector used to plug a charger into a laptop computer.
